Paul Evans
PAUL EVANS is one of the leading landscape painters working today. He is widely known for his highly individual watercolours, acrylics and etchings inspired by East Anglia's landscape and coast, Sussex downland, the Kent Weald and Cornwall's rugged coast and moorland. Paul studied illustration and printmaking in the 1970's at Eastbourne College of Art & Design. Since graduating Paul has had over 40 solo exhibitions and numerous group shows, often selling out within hours of opening. Paul's paintings are sought by collectors and buyers worldwide- America, Japan, Australia and Europe- as well as a large and loyal following closer to home.
Robert Greenhalf
ROBERT GREENHALF is recognised as one of Britain's leading wildlife artists. He has exhibited his work widely in many exhibitions and one-man shows, and his evocative paintings can be found in many public and private collections throughout the world. Living near Rye, Romney Marsh provides the ideal backdrop to Robert's paintings of birds. Frequent visits to Minsmere Wildlife Reserve and the coastlines of Norfolk and Suffolk provide further inspiration and scope for Robert's creativity.
Diane Griffiths
DIANE GRIFFITHS trained as a graphic designer in the late 70's, gaining a degree in illustration. After learning the techniques of etching from classes at Gainsborough's House Print Workshop she moved to Norfolk. Inspired by the surrounding countryside and coast Diane paints atmospheric landscapes and continues to produce innovative and fun etchings and collagraphs.
Sydney Sykes
SYDNEY SYKES was born in Leicestershire in 1943 and studied at Loughborough College of Art & Design, before qualifying as an art teacher from Leicester University. Leaving teaching to pursue a successful international design and merchandising career enabled Sydney to develop a keen photographic eye. Combined with accomplished draughtsmanship this enables the attention to detail found in his current paintings. Now based in Suffolk, Sydney's distinctive landscapes and still-life pictures in watercolour or oils are proving to be very collectible.
Christopher Osborne
CHRISTOPHER OSBORNE worked in engineering until 1974 when an increasing demand for his paintings enabled him to become a professional artist. Self-taught, his fine oil paintings display a sensitive observation of the quiet countryside, its moods, seasons and weather. For nine years Christopher lived in North Essex where he was much influenced by the atmospheric East Anglian skies. However, his love of the Downs, Weald and marshes of the South led him to East Sussex where he now lives with his wife and family.
John Barker
JOHN BARKER attended the Hornsey College of Art in the late 1950's, then travelled throughout the Middle and Far East and across Europe. Later settled back in Essex, he joined the Wivenhoe Arts Club, whose members included at that time, Francis Bacon, Dennis Worth-Miller and Dick Chopping. Moving to and exhibiting in France and Wales, the landscape and colours of both countries still influence his paintings today. Working mainly in acrylic, with the use of colour in the style of Turner, his paintings convey a deep sense of time and place, bridging the divide between the emotional and the abstract. John has work in private collections across the world.
Derek Chambers
DEREK CHAMBERS honed his skills as designer, photographer and illustrator in the commercial world of graphic design, working for top London agencies and clients for some 40 years. Now living and working near Aldeburgh, Derek has an established reputation as a fine painter and printmaker. Winner of the Royal Watercolour Society 1st Prize in 2008, Derek's work has been shown at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Mall Galleries and numerous solo and shared exhibitions.
Tom Cringle
TOM CRINGLE, born and raised in Norfolk, worked in advertising and design, then in the building industry before studying architecture at Brighton University. Over the last few years he has concentrated on his painting techniques, building up layers to reflect the depth and contrast of the huge skies of East Anglia.
John F Black
JOHN FREDERICK BLACK was born and raised in Leicestershire, and studied at Loughborough, Brighton and Manchester Colleges of Art. Having taught and lectured in art since the 1960's, John has been a full time artist since the mid 90's and is inspired by the countryside around his studio in rural Northamptonshire. With recent one man exhibitions in Tokyo, Florida's Key West, and London, Leicester and Riseley, John's works are in private and public collections in the UK and abroad.
Laurie Rudling
LAURIE RUDLING recently returned to his Norwich roots, having lived for some time in Devon. Graduating from Keswick Hall, and Queens’ College Cambridge, followed by an MA from the University of Sussex led Laurie first into teaching, then since 1987 into a successful career as a full-time painter and printmaker. Most widely known for his aquatint etchings, Laurie’s landscapes and seascapes are the most creative reminders of his walks in the West Country and once again in East Anglia.
Martin Laurance
MARTIN LAURANCE, a Norfolk artist, studied at Ipswich School of Art, Norwich Art School and the University of East Anglia.
Painting professionally since the early 90's Martin has developed his own unique style for landscapes. He chooses to work in a variety of mixed media, often including collage, creating paintings that convey the reality and the spirit of a place. In his words ..."going beyond the immediate sensation to something felt and experienced."
His work is exhibited widely including annually in Zurich.
Martyn Perryman
MARTYN PERRYMAN studied sculpture at Richmond School of Art, then worked as a retail designer. More recently he graduated from Wimbledon Art College and is now concentrated on developing his career as a freelance artist.
Working in oils to give layer & texture, Martyn creates seascapes & landscapes focusing on the horizon. His intention is "to produce an image that will trigger a past visual experience. To create the calmness & clarity of mind that can be achieved when looking out to a horizon; free from the pressure and visual clutter of urban life."
John Jackson
JOHN JACKSON was born in 1938 at Kings Lynn, Norfolk. At the Norwich School of Art he honed his skills of linocut printmaking under the tutelage of wood engraver Geoffrey Wales. After working for over 30 years in Marketing and Publishing, John was able to pursue his art ‘full time’ in 1995, with his unique and distinctive style of work proving immensely collectable.

Sonia Rollo
SONIA ROLLO gained a degree in Agricultural Botany, before working in publishing as editor of a scientific journal. In 1988 she studied printmaking at Morley College. A former Vice-Chair of the Printmakers Council, Sonia's distinctive aquatint etchings have been exhibited at the Royal Academy in London and in New York and Atlanta.

Susie Perring
SUSIE PERRING attended the London College of Printing from 1963 to 1967. Following a successful career in graphic design, Susie is now a professional artist and printmaker specialising in etchings, aquatints and silk screen monoprints, working from her studio in Brixton. She has exhibited widely, both in this country and abroad, including several Royal Academy Summer exhibitions, as well as undertaking commissions for commercial clients such as P&O Liners.
John Lawrence
JOHN LAWRENCE was born in Kent in 1940. He was awarded a scholarship to Beckenham Art College and following graduation, enjoyed a very successful commercial career working as a freelance illustrator with top London agencies and newspapers. In 1995 John and his wife moved to Kerry in Ireland to concentrate on his oil painting. John prefers to paint plein air and his feeling for movement, light and brushwork are evident in his dramatic use of colour and texture.
Mychael Barratt
Mychael Barratt.RE was born in Toronto & studied at Canadian art schools in Winnipeg & Halifax. After moving to the UK in 1984, he furthered his skills, studying at Central St Martins School of Art. Respected by his peers, Mychael was made a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter/Printmakers (RE) in 2002. With his distinctive style of aquatint etching, the whimsical & finely observed content of Mychaels work has proven to be very collectable.
Trevor Price
TREVOR PRICE RE. was born in 1966 & grew up in Cornwall, studying at Falmouth & then Winchester School of Art. After leaving college he worked for 2 years in a London etching studio, learning the skills of professional printmaking in the way of an old fashioned apprenticeship. Establishing his reputation in St Ives, he has since returned to London & set up an etching studio in Bermondsey, recently being made a Fellow of the prestigious Royal Society of Painter/ Printmakers (RE). Trevor regards his subject matter to be in some way, a reflection of his life."Some pieces being about the intimacy between a couple, others showing the normal obsessions of any man".
Colin Halliday
COLIN HALLIDAY recently moved from a shared warehouse studio space in London to live and work in Derbyshire, surrounded and inspired by the scenery and colours of the Peak District. His striking landscapes are probably not for those who insist onaccuracy of depiction; this is highly expressive work where Colin paints not so much what he sees but feels.
Anthony Amos
ANTHONY AMOS spent the majority of his career at sea on trawlers, tugs and cargo ships. Painting from his studio in Devon his work is heavily influenced by the colour and texture of the shipyard and quayside. Choosing to paint without brushes, Anthony applied paint and ink with cloth before scraping into the medium with fingers and nails, a unique style which helped to make him a prize-winner with the Royal Society of Marine Artists. Tragically Anthony died earlier this year, 2010 at a time when he was starting to achieve the recognition he deserved.
Trevor Woods
TREVOR WOODS, painting in acrylic and ink, has developed a very distinctive style and the skill of breaking down what he sees in everyday life into shapes and bold colours. Inspired by the countryside and coast of North Norfolk where he lives, Trevor also enjoys the contrast of painting dramatic urban landscapes.
Tony Lockwood
Born in 1942 in Beccles, Tony studied at Lowestoft Art School and at Leicester College of Art. He worked as a designer and illustrator for top London agencies including Yellowhammer and Saatchi & Saatchi, before becoming a full time artist.
Now living and painting in London, his oil on board landscapes have a traditional quality whilst being fresh and contemporary.
Janet Nelson
Janet Nelson is a Scottish artist, now living and working in Leicestershire; largely self taught apart from two years of part time study at Leith College of Art.
Her favoured painting style is semi abstract and subject matter is mainly the sea, because of its association with fast flowing movement and with yacht racing.
 A keen sailor herself, Janet races a Hunter Formula 1, providing lots of inspiration for her painting.
Graham Spice
Graham Spice was born in 1949 in Sittingbourne, Kent. He studied art at Medway College of Art in Rochester.
He enjoyed a successful career as a graphic designer in London, working for leading design groups, then starting & running his own design agency. Graham now lives & works in Suffolk, dividing his time between design work for clients such as the Royal Academy of Arts & his work as an artist.
Using skills learnt as a designer he creates strong graphic images from linocuts. He prefers not to be constrained by a set theme to his art, instead printing whatever inspires him, from scenes, structures & buildings to iconic commercial products.
