JOHN FREDERICK BLACK was born and raised in Leicestershire, and studied at Loughborough, Brighton and Manchester Colleges of Art. Having taught and lectured in art since the 1960's, John has been a full time artist since the mid 90's and is inspired by the countryside around his studio in rural Northamptonshire. With recent one man exhibitions in Tokyo, Florida's Key West, and London, Leicester and Riseley, John's works are in private and public collections in the UK and abroad
