CHRISTOPHER OSBORNE worked in engineering until 1974 when an increasing demand for his paintings enabled him to become a professional artist. Self-taught, his fine oil paintings display a sensitive observation of the quiet countryside, its moods, seasons and weather. For nine years Christopher lived in North Essex where he was much influenced by the atmospheric East Anglian skies. However, his love of the Downs, Weald and marshes of the South led him to East Sussex where he now lives with his wife and family.
