Jayne Lucas' creative flair and ability to generate original pieces of work is based on her love of natural surroundings and form, and led her to study at Chichester University where she gained a B.A. (Hons) in Fine Art. Her wall pieces and sculptural vessels are made from a blended mixture of recycled shredded paper and white stoneware clay. The paper gives the virgin clay greater strength and manipulative properties and thus enables more fragile structures to be produced, when ordinary clay would collapse. The result is works that are thought-provoking, unique and very collectable.
