PAT ARMSTRONG has always lived close to the pretty market town of Stamford in Lincolnshire. Having worked for many years as a secretary, she decided at the age of 41 to go to art college. Graduating from Sunderland School of Art & Design, Pat is now an accomplished specialist in Raku firing. Mixing copper oxide to the glaze she is able to produce pots with quite astonishing vibrant colours.
