Mychael Barratt RE

Mychael Barratt is an award winning artist and printmaker, whose work enjoys critical acclaim and commercial success in equal measure. Born in Toronto , he moved to London during the ’80s and studied at Central St. Martin’s School of Art, where he honed his skills in the printmaking techniques which have become a lifelong passion. His highly original, subtly humorous etchings and silkscreens take their themes from the world of art and culture, as well as people and places that are close to Mychael’s heart. His Master’s Muse – featuring Artists’ Dogs and Cats – is one of many highly collectable series’. Mychael was elected President of The Royal Society of Painter Printmakers in 2013.  His work is shown widely, including several Royal Society Summer Exhibitions and prestigious collections such as The Ashmolean, The British Library and The Jiangsu Museum of Contemporary Art.
